Project Concern does so much for our area all year long but especially during the winter and Christmas time. They've done the winter coat and toy giveaway. But here's something that you may not know about.

They help provide food to those in need and free of charge. They have partnered with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to help the hungry today.

Dress warm and bring a cart, wagon, bags or boxes to Project Concern. The truck will set up in the back parking lot. The Mobile Food Pantry is used to deliver fresh produce, dairy products, and other food and grocery items directly to distribution sites like Project Concern where people need food.

When the truck arrives, volunteers (including myself) will put the food on tables surrounding the truck. You can "shop," choosing items that you need.

It goes from 12 - 1 pm. Project Concern is located at 23 Kattelville Road in Chenango Bridge. I'll be helping to hand out the food so if you are in need, I hope to see you there today.
