The Insane Inflatable 5K is this Saturday (October 8) and the excitement is building for one of the premiere "fun" events of the year.  The morning is in "waves" so you don't have to wait in line.  If you are still thinking of signing up you or a fun group of friends, family (yes, kids of all ages love this) or co-workers, the 10-10:30 a.m. wave seems to be the most popular.  There are plenty of wave times available for 8:30 a.m., 9 a.m., and 9:30 a.m. waves, and of course, the All Access Pass is super fun!  To sign up for a wave time that works best for you, click HERE.

If you've pre-registered, you can skip the race day line and head right to the start line by picking up your registration materials Friday (October 7) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Weis Market, Upper Front Street, Binghamton.  Just make sure you bring a photo ID for material pick up.

While we are getting the giant inflatables and all-new obstacle course ready for the fun, here are a few more things you should know before the "insane fun" begins Saturday:

  • Arrive one hour prior to your wave time to ensure you have enough time to: park, check in at the Registration Tent, get your bib, check your bag at our complimentary Bag Check Tent and head to the Start Line.
  • The Broome Tioga Sports Complex is located 50 Shaffer Road in Richford, New York (outside of Whitney Point and Lisle) For a Google map, click HERE.
  • Though it's not a competitive race, please wear appropriate clothing/footwear to get you through the race. Shoes are ok to be worn on all of the inflatables.
  • You may bring a lawn chair or blanket. You may not bring weapons, drugs, coolers or outside alcohol. You may bring your own water (including on the course).
  • Bring your Driver’s License/State ID. You will not be allowed to pick up your bib without it.
  • If you have further questions on Saturday's Insane Inflatable 5K, feel free to visit the official website by clicking HERE and click on October 8th Binghamton.
