All of us at 98.1 The Hawk were ecstatic to hear that the Insane Inflatable 5K is returning to Binghamton for another round of bouncy, hysterical fun! We are thrilled to once again invite you to come bounce with us in 2016.

We had such a great time last year, that we all still joke about the ridiculousness that took place on their GIANT inflated obstacles. If you missed it, check out this preview video from their 2016 tour to see what it's all about; clearly this 5K isn’t about the running, it’s about having fun!

Best of all the INSANE obstacle designers over at the Insane Inflatable 5K have been hard at work, dreaming up six #CrazyFun new obstacles that will debut when the 2016 tour kicks off. They are unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, and we can't wait to try them out with you.

The Insane Inflatable 5K will be coming to Binghamton on Saturday, October 8 at the Broome Tioga Motorsports Complex. We hope that you and your family and friends will join us for the return of one of the most exciting events to ever hit Binghamton.

See you there!

The 2016 course includes six brand new obstacle designs, alongside fan favorites from the Insane Inflatable 5K’s 2015 tour. The course combines imagination, creativity, and most importantly a large dose of fun coupled with a touch of insanity. The signature inflatables range in size and complexity, including “Waverunner,” a 100 foot long obstacle testing balance, agility, flexibility and endurance, “Crash Course,” the ultimate test of your ability to duck, dodge and push through hanging obstacles from start to finish, and “The Mad House,” an obstacle that will make you climb, weave and maneuver your way through this intricate and challenging new inflatable. You won’t know what hit you, literally!

Beyond the obstacles and the race, the Insane Inflatable 5k will also have a “Midway” where participants can enjoy inflatables games, food, beverages, merchandise, and swag from local vendors and sponsors.

Registration fees, which include an event t-shirt and medal upon completion, range from $54 for advance registration to $75 for day of event registration.
