Emily and Cute Carhartt Joe Go to Galaxy for BRW

As well all know, Binghamton Restaurant Week ends tomorrow, Thursday, April 2nd, so if you haven't gotten a chance to try a local participating restaurant yet, hurry up! Time's a-wastin,' people!

I got a chance to head over to Galaxy Brewing Company right here on Court Street for dinner last night and it was great! I brought Cute Carhartt Joe with me and we made it a little date night! I was sending out snapchats from dinner, too! Add us at TheHawkBing if you haven't yet!

We decided that since neither of us had ever eaten at Galaxy, we'd split everything we ordered and make it a feast! We ordered the Beer and Cheese Soup and the Southwestern Soup for our 1st course and even got a little bit of the salad to nibble on! For our second course, we tried the Salmon and Artichokes and Mojo Marinated Pork and the dessert was a Zucchini Bread with Mango Butter... and yes, mango butter tastes as good as it sounds!

We sampled a few of their galactic beers and I ended up going with a Galactic Nova Double IPA and Joe chose the Stargazer. During our meal, we chatted with Mike, who owns Galaxy with his son, Seth and he told us all about how he got starting in the brewing business.

If I had to summarize our experience, I'd have to say: Good Food, Good Beer, Good People. Thanks to everyone over at Galaxy for a great night!
