Early Morning Fire Rips Through Port Dickinson Home

Fire investigators will be looking into the cause of an early morning blaze July 21 in the Town of Dickinson that has called out crews from a half dozen departments.

The fire at 185 Bevier Street was reported at 2:29 a.m.

Broome County Emergency Services officials say firefighters from Port Dickinson, Binghamton, Hillcrest, Five Mile Point, the Town of Chenango and Port Crane all responded to the scene.

Bevier, Bigelow and other streets surrounding the home.

The house is listed on several reality websites as a three-bed room single family home.

Authorities say they anticipate there will be firefighters and investigators active in the area for hours.
