There may be one less Dunkin Donuts shop on your daily commute soon. The coffee chain restaurant is to close 450 stores by the end of this year. But do not worry, there still will be so much Dunkin’ to go around for everyone.

According to Today, the stores that are closing are located in Speedway gas stations. The reason is because Dunkin’ has cut their ties with Hess, who works with Speedway gas stations. Dunkin’ says that this will help create bigger and better locations for the company.

Kate Jaspon, the chief financial officer for Dunkin’ said,  "By exiting these sites, we are confident we will be better positioned to serve these trade areas with Dunkin’s newest Next Generation restaurant design that offers a broader menu and modern experience. We also remain committed to growing our presence in gas and convenience locations, as well as other non-traditional locations, including airports, universities, travel plazas and military installations."

If you’re worried about filling up your tank and grabbing Dunkin’, do not worry. There will still be so many Dunkin’ establishments surrounding you on your summer road trip adventures. The Dunkin’s that are closing are also a lot smaller and have less on their menu than some others do. Some of the 450 locations have already closed and the rest will be closed by the end of the year.
