Downtown Binghamton Singers Present ‘Love, Harmony and Spirit’
Whoever said that there is nothing to do in the Southern Tier is just not paying attention...especially if you are a music lover. Here's an event that shows off some incredible local musical talent from our area.
The Binghamton Downtown Singers are getting ready to present their spring concert, "Love, Harmony and Spirit," on Saturday, June 8th, at the Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church in Johnson City.
This year's concert will be conducted by Robert J. Manners and will feature a fantastic lineup of performances. This year, we'll hear incredible selections including R. Nathaniel Dett’s “The Chariot Jubilee” and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Five Mystical Songs,” along with the uplifting “Sing for the Cure: A Proclamation of Hope.”
This concert is going to be a real treat that you will not want to miss. Get ready to be moved by their beautiful melodies and narratives that will hit you right in the heart, including stories of breast cancer survivors.
General admission tickets are only $21 online or $20 if you pay with cash or a check. Here's a bonus that everyone will love. One student gets in free with each paid adult ticket. Not only will you enjoy a fantastic evening of music, but you'll also be supporting a great cause.
This is a project that is all about giving back to our community. If you are looking for a concert that will lift your spirits and leave you inspired, you don't need to look any further!
