Today is President's Day or as I call it National "Check the Mailbox for No Reason" Day. The government, banks, and most schools had off today, so here's my question: Did you do anything that involved thinking about the President (any President) today.

Well, if you haven't and you don't want to feel guilty for getting the day off, here are five fun (and mostly true) facts about our Presidents. I'll let you decide if they're really "fun" or not.

John Quincy Adams like to swim nude in the Potomac River. I'm not finding that a very fun fact at all, more like creepy.

Franklin D. Roosevelt at his first Inaugural Address said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." What you might not know is that the original draft was "The only thing we have to fear is phobias." That doesn't sound nearly as intelligent, glad he changed it.

Calvin Coolidge liked having his head rubbed while he ate breakfast in bed. Is that really true? I don't know because I wasn't the one rubbing his head.

Richard Nixon said, "A man is not finished when he is defeated." Let's ask coach Kyle Shanahan after losing another double-digit lead in the Super Bowl.

The Bushes are related to Marilyn Monroe, Benedict Arnold, and Winston Churchill. Hey what do you know, we finally found a fact that is fun.

Do you feel like you really learned anything? At least you had the day off, so enjoy "Furniture and Mattress on Sale" Day.
