You may know him as Cactus Jack, Dude Love, and Mankind, but did you know that the man behind those personas went to college less than an hour up the road from Binghamton?

A message from WWE Hall of Famer, and 1987 graduate, Mick Foley was posted to the SUNY Cortland social media. The inspirational message was directed to all SUNY Cortland students who, like everyone else, are enduring a tough set to circumstances related to coronavirus.

Take a look at the video below:

Younger WWE fans might not know a whole lot about Mick Foley, but those who have been around the block a couple times know that not only is he one of the toughest dudes in wrestling history, but he is also one of the kindest.

Foley in the video shared that the toughest thing that he had to deal with in college is making sure he had enough gas in his car to get to wrestling training in Pittsburgh, and mentioned that what college students are going through right now is even tougher.

He also finished by saying that he's confident in the Cortland students that the wisdom they've gained in upstate New York will carry them through tough times.

An overall great dude, and it's great to see him holding that little red dragon too!
