Day After Halloween Can Be ‘Exhausting’

Oh how I miss the 'treats' of trick or treating.  I mean, how many times are you allowed to ring a stranger's doorbell and expect candy to be dropped in your hand for free?

The next best thing to getting candy for free is getting bags of "fun size" candy at a discounted price.  I happened to mention to family members that I was considering checking out the candy selection on November 1st.  That was my first mistake, mentioning my brilliant idea to family.  All of a sudden, I had a list a mile long of candy requests.  And of course, "just let me know how much it is."

I wanted to get 1 bag of candy and ended up getting 12.  The checkout lady at the register said to me, "aren't you going to save some candy for others."  OK, that does it, next time, I will keep my shopping intensions to myself.

I hope everyone had a nice Halloween.  Now you'll have to excuse me while I load some candy into my car to deliver to everyone in the Triple Cities.
