Coronavirus exposure advisories have been issued by Health Departments in Broome and Tioga Counties in October 27th news releases.

Broome County health officials say people who were at Applebee Grill and Bar on the Vestal Parkway in Vestal October 17 between 4 p.m. and close should self-quarantine until November 1 as a person there had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Also, riders on BC Transit Route 53 Corporate Park between 6:30 and 9:10 a.m. and Route 3 Park Avenue between 1:50 and 5:30 p.m. on October 22nd have tested positive.

The Health Department says anyone at those locations at those times and dates for 10 or more minutes should self-quarantine for 14 days and contact their healthcare provider if symptoms develop.

Tioga County has advisories for people in the Community Hall at Long Meadows Apartments on October 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Family Dollar in Newark Valley between 4:30 and 5 p.m. October 26 to watch for symptoms.

Tioga County Health officials say the current listing is for public areas where individuals visited in the days prior to testing positive for COVID-19 while they were experiencing symptoms or were asymptomatic but in their infectious period.
