The nominees for the 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards were announced on Thurs. (Feb. 16), and some of country music's top acts received multiple nods.

Scoring the most nominations for the awards show is Keith Urban, who racked up seven nods in categories including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Ripcord. 

Miranda Lambert is not far behind with six nominations, garnering mention in Female Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year for her acclaimed single "Vice" and Album of the Year for The Weight of These Wings.

Newcomer Maren Morris ties with Lambert for number of nominations and appears alongside her in the categories of Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for her breakthrough project Hero, in addition to "My Church" scoring a nomination in Single Record of the Year.

Rounding out the top acts earning multiple nominations at the 2017 awards show are Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line, who both received five nods, and Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton, who all earned three nominations, and are collectively  named in categories such as Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and more.

Other country stars up for the night's accolades include Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood, who all scored nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, Dan + Shay and many more.

The 2017 ACM Awards are set for Sunday, April 2 at 8PM ET at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Bryan and Bentley will once again take the stage as hosts for the show.
