Cornell University veterinary students in partnership with the Southern Tier Independence Center will be offering a Healthy Pet Clinic for Binghamton cats and dogs on Saturday, March 30th at the Southern Tier Independence Center, 135 E. Frederick Street in Binghamton.

The services of the Healthy Pet Clinic will be available to members of the Binghamton community who require financial assistance. Please note that only one pet is allowed per adult and you will need to provide one of the following documents with you if you plan to attend the clinic: Medicare card, social security income card, EBT card, VA Disability, W-2 form, pay stub from the last six months, or other proof of public assistance.

The Healthy Pet Clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and it is expected that the clinic will be able to serve about 100 pets. The cost is $30 per pet (cash only) or $25 for veterans (as part of the Vets for Vets program). Each pet will receive a physical exam, core vaccinations, and bloodwork. Microchips will also be available for an additional $10.

To schedule an appointment for your cat or dog to be seen, please email southsidecornell@gmail.com, or leave a message with your name and number by calling 347-620-4738. Walk-ins are also welcome until the clinic is full.
