We all love our mother-in-law. Some love them when they show up, other's love them when they leave. Mothers-in-law have been getting a bad rap for years and I'll let you decide whether they deserve it or not.

The 4th Sunday in October is "Mother-in-Law Day" and it's a chance to get closer to the one that brought life to your spouse and made them the person that they are today. Today is a chance to reconcile your differences and give them the praise and appreciation she deserves or wants.

So we hope that she appreciates the following jokes:

Here's one for the ladies to share with their husband's mother: I don't need you to tell me how to handle my kids. I'm living with one of yours and he needs some improvement.

In the interest of equal opportunity, here is one that my brother-in-law can tell his mother-in-law: Behind every successful man...is a surprised mother-in-law.

Here's one that you might have to think about: Wife: You don't like my relatives. Husband: Not true, I like your mother-in-law better than mine.

I have to admit that I laughed a little bit too hard at this mother-in-law joke: How many mothers-in-law does it take to change a light bulb? One. She just holds it up there and waits for the world to revolve around her.

Ouch, I think I'll stop now. Do you think that it's a coincidence that Mother-in-Law Day and Halloween are so close together? Me neither?

What's your favorite Mother-in-law joke?
