Carrie Underwood is one of country music's biggest superstars.  Having seen Carrie in concert when she played the Broome County Veterans Arena in Binghamton, I think everyone would agree that the 'Blown Away' singer has one of the best voices in country music today.

In the June issue of 'Marie Claire,' magazine, Carrie opens up on her personality, fame and what she is all about.  According to her husband Mike Fisher, Carrie is "the queen of awkward moments" and "is a brutally honest person."

In the eye opening cover article, Carrie admits that she is not a people person and it may be due to her not being in a "huggy" kind of family environment that talked things out.

Fame in the beginning was tough on Carrie.  She experienced panic attacks and was uncomfortable with her new found fame.

On starting a family, the 30 year old Carrie, says she "doesn't feel old enough to have kids. I know I am mature.  But being responsible for another human being."

What did Carrie write in her high school yearbook?  "You were supposed to say what you would be doing in 10 years, and I said, 'I will be rich, famous, and married to a hot guy.' I guess I should have added a few more things."

The current issue of 'Marie Claire' has more with Carrie Underwood, with the June issue, on sale now.
