The C. Fred Johnson Park Carousel has been a huge part of Broome County History for nearly 100 years, helping residents and area visitors alike celebrate youth and make  special memories and on Saturday, July 23, the public is invited to Carousel Day, a day to celebrate this special landmark.

Located at 98 CFJ Boulevard in Johnson City, the C. Fred Johnson Park Carousel is one of six that were donated to the citizens of Broome County by George F. Johnson, this particular one finding its home in Johnson City in 1923. In 1992, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
