Buying Selling or Leasing An Easy Way to Find Farmland

Whether you want to expand your farmland or you have some land sitting idle, Cornell Cooperative Extension has a way to put you in contact with the right person. Farmland For A New Generation is an online list of New York farmers buying, selling, or leasing.

CCE offices in Oneida, Herkimer, and Madison are part of 20 "Regional Navigators" around the state facilitating those wanting land with those owning idle property. In addition to introducing farmers to each other, the program offers training courses in financial planning, evaluating a property, and legal documents.
