BU Women Close Out Non-Conference Slate Tonight

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team closes out its non-conference schedule tonight at 7:00 PM (6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) at the Events Center by hosting the NJIT Highlanders.  The Highlanders are 3-9 while the Bearcats are 10-2.

Binghamton is one of only two teams in America East with double digit wins.  Stony Brook is 12-1 after a double overtime win over Bucknell on Sunday.  The Seawolves have now won nine games in a row and the 12 non-conference wins are the most by any America East women's basketball team since the 1991-92 season.  The Bearcats host the Seawolves on Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00 PM at the Events Center.

Following tonight's game Binghamton opens up America East play with two straight games on the road.  The Bearcats travel to Albany for a 2 PM game on Sunday and then play at UMBC on Wednesday, January 8.  BU's first America East home game is set for Saturday, January 11 when UMass Lowell visits for a 2:00 PM contest.
