The Broome County Sheriff's Office has released its weekly update, detailing arrests made between June 18 and June 25, 2025. Charges range from drug possession and larceny to fleeing from police and violating protection orders. Here’s a breakdown of notable arrests, organized by case type and location.

Drug Possession and Tampering Charges Filed After Traffic Stops

In the City of Binghamton, 41-year-old Kurt A. Albert of Deposit was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor.

Also in Binghamton, 50-year-old Delarlo D. Richards of Binghamton was hit with the same charges following a separate traffic stop.

Mark V. Patak, 36, of the Town of Chenango, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession after a traffic stop in his hometown.

Christiana E. Yacalis, 28, of Binghamton, was arrested and charged with two counts of drug possession after a traffic stop.

Stolen Property and Grand Larceny in Binghamton

Christine Turner, 40, of Johnson City, faces a long list of charges after a traffic stop in Binghamton uncovered a stolen vehicle. She was charged with two Class D felonies, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, along with misdemeanor drug possession and obstruction of governmental administration.

Larceny Investigations Lead to Arrests Across the County

Several individuals were arrested following separate larceny investigations. In the Town of Fenton, 39-year-old Christopher M. Berkman of Endicott was charged with petit larceny.

In the Town of Union, 60-year-old Kimberly M. Devine, also of Endicott, was charged with petit larceny.

Thomas R. Pendlebury, 40, of Kirkwood, was charged with petit larceny in the City of Binghamton.

Endicott Narcotics Investigation Results in Charges

Jerry J. Beverly, 47, of Endicott, was arrested in the Village of Endicott and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Protection Order Violations and Domestic Disputes

Chelsey M. Davis, 37, of Port Dickinson, was arrested for first-degree criminal contempt, a Class E felony, after allegedly violating an order of protection in the Town of Chenango.

Johnathan P. Coish, 47, of Whitney Point, was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing, both misdemeanors, after a domestic dispute investigation in the Town of Triangle.

Lisa M. McKnight, 49, of Marathon, was taken into custody on a second-degree criminal contempt charge following the execution of a warrant in Cortland.

Sex Offender Violation and Resisting Arrest in Kirkwood

Shawn M. Frost, 27, of Kirkwood, was charged with a first-offense violation of the sex offender registry, a Class E felony. He also faces a resisting arrest charge following an investigation into unregistered online accounts.

Police Pursuits and Fleeing Incidents Across the County

In Kirkwood, 37-year-old Jason R. Lagano of Waterloo was charged after a pursuit involving drug possession, fleeing an officer, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration, plus several traffic violations.

Elijah Yard, 27, of Binghamton, was arrested following a pursuit in the Town of Dickinson. He’s facing multiple misdemeanors, including unlawful fleeing, reckless endangerment, and obstruction.

Child Endangerment and Burglary Charges Filed

Matthew R.C. Lehr II, 36, of Hallstead, PA, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after a harassment investigation in the Town of Union.

Jesse J. Wolcott, 38, was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief after a break-in in the Town of Chenango. He was also charged in separate investigations with three counts of third-degree criminal trespass and obstruction of governmental administration.
