Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death of a woman in a house fire in Bradford County.

Authorities say they found the body of 69-year-old Nanette Zampier in her home on Moore Hill Road in Litchfield Township after the fire at the house was brought under control.

Authorities say Zampier had called 911 at around 3:45 p.m. Friday, November 19 to report the fire in her home and crews arriving on the scene about ten minutes after the call found the house engulfed in flames.

State Police say rescuers couldn’t find Zampier until after the fire was under control.

Bradford County Chief Deputy Coroner Timothy Cahill pronounced Zampier dead at the scene.

State Police say their investigation is continuing but there were no signs of foul play.
