More details are being announced as the march is due to take place next weekend.

Parade day is March 5th starting with Mass celebrated at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church on Court Street at 11:30 a.m.

The parade starts at 1:30 traveling west on Court Street from around Fayette Street to Main and Arthur Streets on Binghamton’s West Side.

Unlike past years, there will be no after-parade party at Seton Catholic High School due to the pandemic.

The parade is one of the biggest annual celebrations in Binghamton drawing not only local bands, politicians and marching units, but participants from outside the area.  Pipe bands from New York and the Mummers from Philadelphia have participated for many years.  The Binghamton parade, being held so early, allows for popular groups from outside the area to participate as well as local groups to travel to other celebrations held on Saint Patrick’s Day itself, March 17.
