The funds are part of an over $67 million allocation from the federal department of Housing and Urban Development announced June 1 by U.S. Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.
Buffalo is getting the lion’s share of the allocation at $11.7 million. Yonkers and Syracuse are to get more than $5 million with Rochester, Albany, Troy, Schenectady and Utica splitting just over $16 million.
Binghamton, Niagara Falls, Watertown, Lackawanna, New Rochelle and White Plains are being allocated over $1 million.
