
Let’s Rumble! Binghamton Baseball Back In The Playoffs
You've heard the saying, "It's not how you start but how you end." That is certainly true for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. They struggled early in the season but have bounced back to make the playoffs for the 11th time in franchise history and the first since 2017.

Things weren't looking much better at the beginning of the second half of the season when their record was 22-22. Since then they have gone 13-3 with the help of two-time Eastern League Pitcher of the Week, Joander Suarez.

On Thursday, September 7th, Suarez threw the eighth no-hitter in Binghamton's franchise history and the first individual no-hitter since 2006. The Rumble Ponies will play the Somerset Patriots (Double-A Yankees) on Tuesday, September 19th at Mirabito Stadium.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies Final Homestand Of The Regular Season
In the meantime, you can see the Ponies get playoff ready with their final homestand of the season against Reading. It begins on Tuesday, September 12th with Twofer Tuesday with two-for-the-price of one on select drinks and drafts.
Wednesday is We Care Wednesday with free parking. 98.1 the Hawk presents Thursty Thursday on College Night. First 500 adults through the gate will get a T-shirt. First pitch for all three nights is at 6:35 p.m.
Wrap up the regular season with Fan Appreciation Weekend. Friday is Fireworks night courtesy of Townsquare Media with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, September 16th is the Binghamton Baseball Shrine Induction Ceremony as the Ponies will be wearing specialty jerseys. First pitch at 6:07 p.m.
The regular season comes to an end on KIds Eat Free Sunday. The Ponies will be wearing Fan Appreciation Specialty jerseys and there'll be $1.00 beers from first pitch (1:05 p.m.) until the first run is scored.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies Playoff Schedule
The Ponies will open the Northeast Division Series on Tuesday, September 19th for the first of a three game series against the Patriots. After they advance, they'll be back at Mirabito Stadium on September 24th to take on the Southwest Division Champion in the Eastern League Championship Series.
The New York Mets and Yankees have been disappoints this season but at least their Double-A affiliates are bringing some playoff excitement and hope for the future.
