Since its inception in 2010, the bi-annual Binghamton Restaurant Week has become a tradition that Binghamton residents and visitors look forward to each spring and fall when we're able to feast on a delicious three-course meal at local restaurants while helping local charities.

I've had the pleasure of participating in Binghamton Restaurant Week for the last three years and I love that it allows me the opportunity to visit restaurants that I might not otherwise try on my own. I've got a toddler who consumes virtually all of my time and money, so I'm always looking for a way to stretch a dollar. I definitely feel like I'm getting a bang for my buck with Binghamton Restaurant Week because lunch is $10 or less and dinner is $20 or less. Oh, and did I mention that appetizers and dessert are included in the price? Now, that's a deal!

Starting today, Tuesday October 18th, Binghamton restaurants will once again offer discounted lunch and dinner menus with a portion of the proceeds going to Truth Pharm and CHOW.

There are more than 30 restaurants participating in this round of Restaurant Week, which goes on for 10 days. So, get this- if you were to go to lunch and dinner each day, you'd only hit up 20 of the restaurants on the list. Deciding where to eat is almost as difficult as deciding which menu item to pick. So, we're going to help you out.

During Restaurant Week, my family and I will be dining at various Binghamton restaurants and will fill you in on what we ordered, what we thought of the meal, the atmosphere, how the wait time and more. Hopefully, this will help make your decision a little easier.

Binghamton Restaurant Week runs October 17th through October 27th.  See a list of participating Binghamton Restaurant Week restaurants and menus.
