Heart Cup & Binghamton Black Bears: 1 Ticket 2 Games 4 A Great Cause!

There's always been a friendly rivalry of sorts between the Binghamton police officers and fire fighters and here's their chance to show their "love" for each other while raising money for a worthy cause.

Heart Cup - Binghamton Fire Department vs Binghamton Police Officers

It's the 2023 Heart Cup when Binghamton First Responders come to the Visons Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, April 1st before the Binghamton Black Bears game. They've been doing this event since 1985 and I'm so glad to see it come back again this year.

This is when the Binghamton fire fighters and police officers lace them up to raise money and awareness about heart disease. The American Heart Association will be at the game with information on the concourse to help educate everyone about prevention and treatment of heart disease.

Face-off for the Heart Cup is at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1st. One year, I was fortunate enough to be the " bench coach" for the Binghamton Firefighters. They loss and I haven't been asked back...I wonder why.

It's First Responders Night with the Binghamton Black Bears and you can get a $12 ticket for the Heart Cup Game and the Binghamton Black Bears vs Columbus River Dragons.

Face-off for the Heart Cup game is at 3:30 p.m. with the the Black Bears battling the Dragons begins at 7 p.m. 1 ticket, 2 games 4 a great cause adds up to a win-win for all. I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period.
