Binghamton on Tap Beer Festival Comes to Broome County Fairgrounds This Weekend
Remember in the middle of the pandemic when we were all stuck at home going completely stir crazy and desperately wishing we could hang out with our friends while tossing back a few brews?
We were video chatting each other and some even got creative by dusting each other with win and beer deliveries. We promised each other that once things opened back up, we would get together and we would hang out. That time has come.
The Binghamton on Tap Craft Beer Festival is back for the 7th year but this time around, we’re doing it up even bigger by holding it at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point this Saturday, September 18. Not only will you have more room to move around but the weather looks like it’s going to be glorious with a sunny sky and temperatures in the mid-70s.
Buy your tickets in advance and save some money. Advance VIP tickets will get you into the festival from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and you’ll get a souvenir sampling glass, a commemorative hat, food voucher, and access to live music. Advance general admission tickets will get you into the festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., a souvenir sampling glass, and access to live music. If you buy tickets on the day of the event, prices will jump substantially, so save some cash and order your tickets now.
Designated Driver tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed into the festival, not even designated drivers.
60 breweries will be offering samples during Binghamton on Tap but that’s not all. There will be BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, Buffalo chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, soft pretzels with cheese, and mustard available for purchase. You can also enjoy a game of Kan Jam, Ladder Golf, Corn Hole, or Crown Hole (a cross between corn hole and quarters), and The Gents will be performing.
