After nearly a century, regular worship services no longer are being held at a church on Binghamton's South Side.

Members of Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church recently voted to dissolve the congregation.

The church at Morris and Mitchell streets was constructed in 1927. The church was organized in 1879 and originally was located in a building on Corbett Avenue that had been donated by businessman Erastus Ross.

Membership in the church had declined in recent years and attendance at Sunday services had fallen dramatically.

A formal service of dissolution is scheduled to be held at the church this Sunday.
