For seven years, the annual Children's Charity of Binghamton Easter Egg Hunt has brought cheer to children around the area. This year the event is dedicated to Harper Stantz.

Harper was tragically killed last month in a car accident as she walked home from playing tennis.

According to the organizer's Facebook page the Stantz family has been instrumental in the annual egg hunt and:

The joy the event brings to thousands of children wouldn't be possible, for seven years, without the Stantz family. This year, with Marty and Patty's blessing, we respectfully dedicate the 2019 CCGB Easter Egg Hunt in memory of Harper Stantz. Please join us for a morning of fun, laughter and remembrance.

More information on this event is forthcoming and will be posted to the event's Facebook page.

The annual easter egg hunt will be on April 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Binghamton's Rec Park, 73 Beethoven Street.
