Last week Glenn & Traci were talking about the iconic Vestal Steakhouse bull finding a new home at the Binghamton Discovery Center.  You have to see it.  She looks very happy.  I love the Discovery Center for all it stands for the the Greater Binghamton community and how it helps educate and entertain children in our region.  Not only that but it's a lot of fun too.

Word is the Discovery Center will be hosting a fundraiser for their 30th anniversary exhibit which will open in March of 2014.  They're hoping you will join them this Thursday evening for an "Evening of Wine and Roses."  The fun event that features local and Finger Lake wineries and local restaurants will take place in The Story Garden, one of the center's outdoor exhibits.

Advance tickets for An Evening of Wine and Roses are a donation of $20.00 per adult- 21 and over please.  Tickets on the evening of the event are $25.00.  All proceeds will benefit the construction and installation of "What's The Buzz- A Honey of an Exhibit!"  This sounds like an awesome exhibit as it will stretch a child's understanding of the importance of scientific investigation through an exploration of a simple insect, the honeybee, with a complicated story to tell.
