It's an exciting time for Binghamton sports. First the Binghamton baseball team gets a new name and NYSEG Stadium gets a makeover. Then in October, the Binghamton hockey team gets a new affiliate and name.

Now we know when it will begin for the Binghamton Devils. The new era begins at home at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, October 7th at 7:05 pm.

Opponents and starting times along with the full 2017-2018 schedule will be released this summer. The excitement continues as there has been a 25% increase in full season memberships and a 178% increase in total new plans.

We may not know the full schedule but this is what we know so far:

The Binghamton Senators will be in the North Division and their division rivals will be the Belleville Senators, Syracuse Crunch, Rochester Americans, Toronto Marlies, Utica Comets and the Laval Rocket (who).

The Devils will play 38 homes games next season and will face Rochester and Syracuse fives times and Belleville will come to town four times. Although they aren't in our division, we'll see Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the Arena three times.

The Binghamton Devils have brand new season memberships available with new benefits such as a FREE ticket to a New Jersey Devils home game. For more info about this and all things Devils, go here.
