Afton Man Accused of Touching Children

An Afton man is charged with felony sexual abuse after New York State Police say they were notified that a child under the age of 14 had been inappropriately touched.

25-year-old Jeffrey Gurnee is also charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse.

Troopers say Gurnee was also accused of previously touching a child under the age of 11.

He was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail following his November 19^th arrest.

An order of protection has been issued for both children.
