It's hard to believe the summer is almost over. I know that summer isn't technically over until September 23rd but for many of us, it feels like it's done after the Labor Day weekend.

So let's Savor the Summer and help out an organization that does a fantastic job helping others in our area. I'm talking about "Savor the Summer" tasting event with ACHIEVE on Thursday, August 31st.

What is ACHIEVE

For those that may not know, ACHIEVE is the PREMIER provider of services to individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities in Broome, Chenango and Tioga Counites. They have been making a significant difference in our area for over 70 years.

Just think, it all started in 1952 when 10 families got together to help children that had developmental disabilities. It is a true calling for those that are a part of this organization today.

I have a tendency to take things for granted in my life...and maybe you do too. I want to try and give back to groups and organizations that are making a difference and ACHIEVE is certainly one of them. This event is an easy choice in so many way.

Savor The Summer Tasting Event With ACHIEVE

This is their biggest fundraiser of the year and they go ALL OUT as over 30 of the best restaurants, breweries and wineries come together at 125 Cutler Pond Road in Binghamton.

Fall and colder temperatures are coming so Savor the Summer at ACHIEVE Cutler Pond Day Habilitation. The evening will come to an end with a bang as fireworks fly in the sky.

It's a night of great tasting food and drink with live music under the big tent that overlooks Cutler Pond. Get your Will Call tickets and check out all the vendors that will be a part of this event. I'll see you  on Thursday, August 30th from 6 until 9 p.m.
