ACHIEVE Bowling Greatness…Even If You Don’t Knock Down a Single Pin
Have you heard about ACHIEVE? They have been providing services to people with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities in Broome, Chenango and Tioga Counties for over 70 years.
It began in 1952, when 10 families wanted to make a better life for their kids. They joined with other groups in New York and "ACHIEVE" was born. Today, they are the premier provider of services to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in our area. Read about their story here.
ACHIEVE is located at 125 Cutler Pond Road in Binghamton and they thrive because of people like you. You support their various fundraising events like Savor the Summer in August.
Bob Warner Bowling Tournament To Benefit ACHIEVE
The big kick-off is their Bob Warner Pin Crushing Classic bowling tournament at Midway Lanes, Jensen Road in Vestal. This is the 27th year for this annual event and it takes place on Saturday, April 15th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
It includes 3 games of bowling, prizes, pizza, soda and more. Get your 5 person team together and get ready to crush those pins while helping an organization that is improving the lives of over 2,200 individuals with developmental disabilities.
Whether you are a STRIKER FORCE or (more like me) a Gutter Ganger, you are invited. Like the saying goes, "Showing up is all that really matters." The Crushing Classic sells out, so don't hesitate and get in on the action.
If you're not the bowling type, you can still stop by Midway Lanes on Saturday, April 15th between 12 p.m. and 3:30. Cheer on the bowlers and get in on ACHIEVE's raffle baskets and 50/50 drawings.
Here's your chance to CRUSH IT, have fun while ACHIEVING greatness for yourself...even if you bowl like me (if you know then you know).
