Power Restored After 3,000 Broome Customers Were Without Power
12 P.M. UPDATE:
As of 10:42 a.m., power was restored to affected customers in Endicott and the town of Union, according to a NYSEG spokesperson.
The spokesperson says the cause of the outage is under investigation.
As of 12:08 p.m., there are only 98 customers without power
ORIGINAL STORY:
A few thousand customers have no power in western Broome County.
According to NYSEG, 3,001 customers are without power as of 10:23 a.m. on Friday.
The vast majority of the outages are in the village of Endicott and town of Union, with 705 and 2,052 outages respectively.
The estimated return of service time for those two areas is 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Outages have also been reported in the towns of Maine, Lisle, Binghamton, Chenango, Conklin, and Barker, as well as in the village of Johnson City.
