I had to smile when I read about 90-year-old Arnold Abbott because he reminds me of my late Mammy. When my Mammy was in her 90's she moved into a nursing home and made sure to care for all the "kids" younger than her. That's right- all the "kids"  in the nursing home. Mammy was a spitfire and so is Arnold.

Arnold Abbott is the 90-year-old Florida man you might have heard of who's been arrested not once, but twice in the past week for feeding the homeless – thanks to a new Ft. Lauderdale ordinance that bans outdoor feedings without city permits.

Arnold, a World War II veteran, has been serving meals to the homeless at the same park park for more than 23 years and this amazing man doesn't seem to care how many run-ins with the law he has, as long as the non-profit organization he works with, called Love Thy Neighbor, can continue to feed people who would otherwise go without eating.

What do you think about Arnold's arrest? Do you think it's a ridiculous law or do you think there's sense behind it?
