I spoke with quite a few HAWK listeners who had no idea about the breach going on with Yahoo, Tumblr and Flickr.  Before I go in to detail, I can sum it up with four words: change your password immediately.

Yahoo is urging users to reset their passwords after the company finally confirmed that at least 500 million Yahoo accounts have been compromised a few years back.  It's hard to believe that we are just finding out now but this breach could be very serious because the hackers could have not only your password, but your name, telephone numbers and security questions and answers.

According to Komando.com, you should do more than simply changing your password.  To play it safe, users should also change your secret questions and answers, turn on two step verification under account info and account security.

It's probably a good idea to check your bank accounts and credit report for any unusual ab moralities. Hacking could have done something to compromise more than your email.
