Tyler Farr is set to become a reality television star. The singer says a new show called A Little Too Farr will air in 2017 on a new television network.

"We started filming for it two weeks ago," Farr told Taste of Country in early November. "It's basically me ... Following me around and being ridiculous like I always am."

A new marriage and recording an album with friend and fellow country star Jason Aldean are sure to be two topics touched on during the series. Farr first admitted he was working on a TV show in June at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. Details were scarce then, and few have been revealed about this new show in the last few months.

Musically, Farr's next album will be his third. "A Guy Walks Into a Bar" was his biggest hit from the Suffer in Peace album, while "Redneck Crazy" was the biggest from his debut. Farr married longtime fiancee Hannah Freeman in October and is generally known for his dry, self-deprecating sense of humor.

Aldean is among his closest friends, but certainly not his only famous friend. Farr came up with artists like Lee Brice, Colt Ford and Jerrod Niemann. He's an avid hunter and outdoorsman, but classically trained as a vocalist. The dynamic could make for very entertaining television.

Other artists who've hosted reality television shows? Craig Morgan, but Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins and Carrie Underwood are on a long — and growing — list of stars who've turned to television in the last decade.

There's no timetable for Farr's new album.
