On Monday morning beginning at 5am,  I'm extremely proud to announce the newest edition to the Hawk family, TRACI TAYLOR.  She'll be joining me as part of the Hawk morning show.  We couldn't be happier to have her here.  We know how much she was loved at her last radio station and we know you'll love her as much.  Now without further ado, in her own words, Heeeeerrrrrres Traci:

I was born in Bremerton, Washington on February 14th.  Trust me.  It’s not as cool as you’d think being a Valentine baby.  I grew up in Albany and was raised by the most amazing parents, Debbie and Harold.  My parents always encouraged the 7 of us kids (yeah- I have 6 younger siblings!) to be creative through participation in the arts.  Although I had a college degree, I decided I wanted to be a TV camera person and went to school for that, but while filming a commercial for a local radio station I hit it off with the boss of the radio station who invited me to try out for the nighttime show which I did and the rest is history.  I’ve been hooked on radio for over 15 years.

I love cooking (I’m a pesto-aholic. I put pesto on anything and everything), music (you name it from country to oldies to hip hop- I love it), dancing (horribly!), laughing, photography, chatting with my friends over coffee, interior decorating and reading.  I’ve got a library of over 1,000 books and continue to add to it.  Yeah, I’m that crazy book lady.  I’m really not much of a TV watcher.  When I do have time I usually watch mindless shows that don’t require me to think like Real Housewives or pretty much anything on HGTV.  My family is my world-we’re super close knit.  My whole family lives in upstate Albany, so you can guess where I spend a lot of my free time.

I'm very looking forward and am very excited to meet all of you in the Southern Tier as we'll spend many, many years together. I've worked with Glenn before so I know the challenge ahead.....Kidding ya Glenn.  We'll see you on Monday morning.
