Ryan Lawrence of Syracuse has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of his 21-month-old daughter.

UPDATE: 02/23/2016  4:41am Ryan Lawrence was reported taken into custody overnight.  Crews are continuing to search for 21-month old Maddox Lawrence, who was not with abduction suspect Ryan Lawrence at the time.

August 1, 2015 update:Authorities said in an alert just before 2:30am that police found 16-year-old Jena Patterson unharmed and arrested Walter Lewis, the man accused of abducting her from her home on East View Drive in Wilkes-Barre. The two were reportedly found near Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, according to WNEP.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's has activated the New York State Amber Alert and are investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred on State Highway 812/Mt. Alone Rd., in the town of Oswegatchie at about 7:20pm on Wednesday August 13, 2014.
