Stop DWI Holiday Classic Comes To Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena

One of the best High School Boy's  Basketball tournaments in the country begins today in the Southern Tier.  It's the Mirabito/Stop DWI Holiday Classic at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

It's a 3 day event and it all starts at 11:15 with local region action between Maine Endwell and Norwich.  Many local and national teams will be here.  Teams from New York City and Philadelphia will participate again this year.  While you're at the Arena enjoying top notch Boy's Basketball, the concourse is filled with info to deal with alcohol and substance abuse and help to become leaders in school and the community.

There are 2 Regional Divisions and 1 National Division.  There are 2 sessions everyday and the final national game starts at 9pm on Sunday.  It's some fantastic basketball and some of the best collegiate players have participated including Gerry McNamara and Donte Green, who were both Syracuse Orange superstars.
