I can't believe it!  A kiss on TV was a planned spontaneous moment....NO WAY!!! What is this reality TV coming too. OK, I wasn't surprised at all but some people were shocked....Shocked, I say. I'm talking about Michael Sam.

Michael Sam is the NFL’s first openly gay player and a documentary following his life was planned. The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) was on hand when Micheal was drafted in the 7th round and the camera was there to capture the "kiss." The reality show has been postponed because of the backlash, with many fans wondering if the NFL or the Rams even approved the project.

It turns out neither the NFL or Rams approved the show so it’s been indefinitely delayed. In fact, they said that they knew about the show or the camera's being there ahead of time.

According to Gossip Cop, a statement was released by OWN and it said "After careful consideration and discussion with the St. Louis Rams. 'The Untitled Michael Sam Project' has been postponed, allowing Michael the best opportunity to achieve his dreams of making the team."

Sam himself has not commented, but his agent released a statement saying, "After today's meeting with the Rams, we felt it is best to postpone the project. This will allow for Michael to have total focus on football, and will ensure no distractions to his teammates. Everybody involved remains committed to project and understands its historical importance as well as its positive message."
