Binghamton Restaurant Week is almost over. You have until Thursday to take advantage of it.

Here are several things that I love about Binghamton Restaurant Week.

1) It's a great way to support your local restaurants.

2) It's a chance to try a place that you might not have gone too otherwise.

3) It's a chance to try something different at a restaurant that you've gone too before.

Today I'll be going with option 3 at South Side Yanni's.

I've never heard of Crispy Shrimp Po' Boy before, but it has 2 of my favorite things; corn and shrimp. Okay, it's corn crusted shrimp, but still. Today I'm going to try it because it's BRW.

Are your kids off for Spring Break this week? Mine are, so I'm thinking about taking my daughter Riley with me as a treat. Quality kid time, with good food for great causes. Sounds like a win-win situation!

Binghamton Restaurant Week runs through April 2nd. Don't be an April fool and miss out!

Proceeds support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Binghamton and Broome County Habitat for Humanity.
