Children Shop With Joey Sindelar
It's a tradition in the Southern Tier that I hope continues for years to come. It's the eighth annual "Shop With Joey" event.
Broome County Community Charities and DICK’S Sporting Goods have teamed up again. It's a chance for kids in need to shop with Champions Tour Professional and Horseheads native Joey Sindelar.
As a part of their annual Christmas celebration, Broome County Community Charities, Inc. and DICK’S Sporting Goods have invited 20 children from local Boys and Girls Clubs to a Christmas shopping spree at DICK’S Sporting Goods in Vestal.
Children have been chosen based on need by the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome and the Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton. Children will each be allotted $200, courtesy of DICK’S Sporting Goods, and can stock up on necessities like sneakers, boots, and jackets.
Before shopping, the children will enjoy a pizza party. It starts at 5:30 tonight.
