Summer officially arrived last Sunday at 12:38pm. That means we haven't had a full weekend of summer yet but that all changes this weekend. The longest day of the year was last Monday and the days get shorter by a minute from then on. With all that in mind, I think it's darn important to have an awesome first weekend of summer.
We are fortunate to be rich in arts and entertainment, always a short drive away and perfect for a date night or a family night out. This weekend features a variety of plays and a music show in Johnson City.
If you’re a fan of the Wizard of Oz and looking for something fun to do during the week with your kids, I think you’ll really enjoy what the Discovery Center has planned for their 7th Annual Summer Carnival.
The Greater Binghamton area sure has it's pick of festivals. With the 2015 Owego Strawberry Festival a good memory, it's time to celebrate cherries with the 11th Annual Cherry Festival this Saturday and Sunday, 9:30am-6pm outside of Ithaca.
Teens in the Greater Binghamton area have a chance to participate in a fun summer program that kicks off next month at the Broome County Public Library. The program is open to teens ages 12 to 18 and is FREE!
