Binghamton Mets Welcome Back Dinner on April 2nd
Spring is here and that means Binghamton Mets baseball is back. It all starts with the "Welcome Back B-Mets" Dinner on Tuesday, April 2nd at the Binghamton Riverwalk Hotel & Conference Center.
It's the 15th year of the event and it sells out every year, so don't miss out. Fans can get autographs from B-Mets players and the mascots (Ballwinkle and Buddy the Bee.) The players arrive at 5:30 for the "Meet the Mets" autograph reception. Dinner at 7pm, then a special baseball program with team and manager introductions.
Tickets are only 20 bucks per person. It includes the dinner, a baseball that you can have the B-Mets sign, the program and music by the Scott Freeman Band. To buy your tickets call (607) 723-METS (6387) or stop by NYSEG Stadium during business hours. For directions or for further information about the event and the Binghamton Mets (including buying your tickets to any B-Met baseball game), go to BMets.com.
All of the proceeds of the "Welcome Back B-Mets" event benefit the recently formed B-Met's Booster Club, a non-profit organization of local volunteers to promote the team in our community. Opening Day for the B-Mets is Thursday, April 11th at 6:35 against New Hampshire. LET'S GO B-METS.
