Last night, the Binghamton Mets picked up another win after an 89 minute rain delay against Altoona.  They'll go for a series sweep tonight against the Curve at NYSEG Stadium.

Rhyne Hughes drew the first of two consecutive bases loaded walks for the eventual game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning. The inning was extended after a dropped third strike with two outs, and the team scored two runs without a base hit in the inning.

Tonight is one of the biggest nights of the year at NYSEG Stadium. It's a We Win Wednesday. If the Mets win (and they've been winning a lot) then every fan gets a free  ticket to a future Binghamton Met game.

Get there early for the first ever hotdog eating contest and see if you can eat the most hotdogs in Binghamton. Then stick around after the game for a firework show with a double grand finale.

The Binghamton Mets players and coaches will be wearing special patriotic jerseys that will be auctioned off after the fireworks. The proceeds from the auction will go to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. First pitch is at 6:35.

To get your tickets to see your 1st place Mets and other events go here. LET'S GO METS.
