Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier (MHAST) does so much by helping the lives of our community by improving their mental health and wellness. Now you can help them out during their biggest fundraiser of the year.

LOOK OUT, the men are cooking again. It's the Southern Tier’s 15th Annual Men Who Cook amateur chef competition and public tasting this Thursday, September 21st at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Binghamton from 5:30 pm- 9 pm.

It shows off the talents of amateur celebrity chefs who will be serving up everything from appetizers to entrees at over 20 different tasting stations.

This year’s event will be held in memory of long-time Men Who Cook participant, chef Pete Patten. Pete competed for the final time last year while fighting pancreatic cancer. He lost the battle on January 10th.

The smartest thing that MHAST did was NOT invite me to cook because it's about wellness not illness. The smartest thing that you can do is attend.

Get your tickets here or call (607) 771-8888 extension 336. Tickets will be sold at the door (if available) but don't take a chance and buy them now.
