New York landed the 16th spot, which doesn't sound great. The good news is that it got a really good score of 7.86/10. Ladies in New York are showing they have what it takes to survive in the business game, ranking fourth among all the states with a solid rate of 81.59%.

However, when it comes to having women in financial manager roles, the news isn't as good. New York, along with other states like New Jersey, South Dakota, Delaware, Utah, and Nebraska, is falling short with a female-to-male ratio of less than one.

New York, along with a few other states, still has work to do in getting more women into financial manager roles. But as the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is gender equity in the business world.

New York may not have topped the charts yet, but they are making strides and setting the stage for more women to take the lead when it comes to entrepreneurship. So to all the women that are looking to start their own business, don't give up.

You can see how other states are doing here. You are the one's that can pave a way toward gender equality in the business world. It all starts with one boss lady at a time.
