So have you ever watched "Adam Ruins Everything?" I first learned of the show when March Madness was being shown on Tru TV, it looked interesting and I'm glad I checked it out.

He talks about things that we take as fact that may not be factual at all. For example, the origins of Thanksgiving are nothing like what we read in history books.

He also talks about the fallacy of the Alpha Wolf and the lies of online dating. He does it with humor and is very compelling. One of the episodes was "Adam Ruins Mount Rushmore" and he talks about how it was created as a tourist trap and it was never completed.

South Dakota historians hired Gutzon Borglum to carve Wild West legends on the side of the mountain. Borglum decided to sculpt Presidents instead. It was supposed to be their whole bodies, not just their heads.

The pile of stones at the bottom of Mount Rushmore is just loose stones left behind when Borglum died. Did you know (according to Adam), that the reason that Theodore Roosevelt is on Mount Rushmore has nothing to do with his greatness?

Borglum was a friend of Teddy's and he did it as a favor to the prez. So now that Adam has ruined Mount Rushmore for us, I have this question for you? If you could choose the four faces of country music, who would you put on the side of the mountain? It can be any country artist from any time period.

I'll go first:: Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Tracy Byrd, and Glenn Pitcher.

Toby: His song "Should've Been a Cowboy" was the song that got me interested in country music. His daughter, Krystal, taught Traci to play blackjack at the Country Cares For Kids Seminar for St. Judes in Memphis.

Garth: Not only is he an awesome entertainer but as humble as they come. When I meet him, he made me feel like it was his honor to meet me. I also have a friend that is a part of the Garth Brooks family and I don't want to upset her.

Tracy: I had the chance to go hunting with him once. Besides, you can't go wrong with the guy that sings "Keeper of the Stars" and "Watermelon Crawl."

Me: I want people to look at the carving and ask themselves "Why is 'Wierd' Al Yankovic on the side of the mountain?"

So who are your four?
