It's the latest edition of Glenn's Nashville News (GNN). Frankie Ballard has a new song called "Cigarette. Here's the amazing thing to me. Frankie is a songwriter but he didn't write this new song.

Who did? It was Kip Moore. Kip as you know, has a new album out, so why didn't he put it on his new CD. Find out here.

When songwriters write songs, in their mind they envision how the song will sound.  For example: Keith Urban recorded the song "Cop Car" but Sam Hunt wrote it.

By now, you've heard Keith's version of the song. When you get a chance, listen to Sam's take on the very same song. It definitely is different. I'll let you decide which version is better.

Anyway, back to "Cigarette." So what does Kip think of Frankie's version of the song? Find out here.

Here's one part that isn't surprising about Frankie's new song. Chris Stapleton also was a co-writer on it.
